ENVIRONMENTS 

From 1992-1998 Zjef created many different commissioned Environments in Art Galleries throughout the Netherlands. Most of these were accompanied with an Art Performance as well, enhancing the artistic statement he was making.

During 2004 Zjef designed and developed his first big event for MAC cosmetics, called ADORN for the holiday season. After a premiere in New York it was presented worldwide. Since that time he works for MAC cosmetics on a regular base, conceptualizing the bigger events, DANSE, ANTIQUITEASE.

He was also involved as an art director in shaping the launch of “Unforgivable Woman” the new perfume from Sean John in 2007 in New York. For Estee Lauder he helped design their biggest retail event of the year in Cannes at the Majestic Hotel, creating a winter landscape with interactive performances throughout the evening.
